Enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the newly opened restaurant (same location as before just new building) it was absolutely fantastic. The food is amazing and the staff knows how to treat guests. Everything about my experience was top notch. If you like mexican food get yourself a table here. You definitely won't regret it.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. It is always our go to. I love anything with their asada. White queso and black beans are very good too. We’ve never had to wait and you receive chips and salsa as soon as you sit. They do have a small patio. Parking lot is tight

A family member just moved to this neighborhood so we wanted to try a local restaurant. We were so glad to find this place. All of the staff was so welcoming and friendly. The service was great. We ordered fajita enchiladas, crema enchiladas, and chicken quesadillas. All were excellent and filling. They also bring you a frosty mug with your bottled beer. Highly recommend this place for great Mexican food!

Simply the best Ceviche I had in the Shreveport area so far, their seafood is also super fresh and delicious, and the staff and management are so friendly that they will make you feel just like home! Mas Palomas Por Favor! 😉

I visited this Restaurant and had a fantastic experience! The restaurant was clean and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu had a good selection of Mexian food to choose from. The Checken fajita I ordered was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. It was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone looking for a great mexican food…

This place is truly a gem! Friendly service, family owned, AMAZING food, great prices, daily deals and a killer happy hour all make this place one superb Shreveport establishment. The Burrito Verde is one of my faves but everything there is good. They even have a little salsa bar with different types of salsa/pico. It’s a pretty small building and they get very busy during peak hours/on the weekends so I recommend coming in early or preparing for a (short) wait. But it is so worth it! Love this place!

On our way back from Louisiana vacation stopped and had lunch at El Compadre Mexican Restaurant. Food was very good. Staff efficient and friendly. Service was very good.

Hands down best service, quality of food, consistency of order in the business. We go here weekly and it’s always the same. Any family comes to town we take them here. Can’t say enough good things about Pedro and Juan and their business. If you haven’t been trust me and go

The food is the best! I love the new building an atmosphere. The friendly staff never let me down. I highly recommend these food at El Compadre! Wednesday night Fajita special is my favorite! ❤️
